T.O.P.S. Prodigal Child Project is a C(4) status organization, leading in voting rights restoration, training, and advocacy, which aims to bring attention to voter suppression and increase the numbers of voters by providing Electoral Protection for those directly impacted.
Continue to build a stronger coalition of clergy, legislators, stakeholders, community leaders, and families of incarcerated people to expand our voting right efforts throughout the South.
Train upcoming leaders throughout our branches in criminal justice reform and voter’s registration of formerly and incarcerated people, focusing on those who shouldn’t have lost their right to vote.
Support affiliate churches and organizations of PCP by expanding their efforts of providing resources to the community and providing grassroots training in Criminal Justice, Pardon and Parole Reform, and Restorative Justice.
Remove the barriers and voting blocks of those in and out of prison and jails who have been purged and disenfranchised off the voting list throughout America.
Increase the awareness of the Moral Turpitude Law and hold the DOJ accountable to ensure this law is visible to inmates and that the access to resources and knowledge of their constitutional rights are being honored.
